Meet The Author: Jennifer Hughes

Jennifer Hughes is a passionate writer, and advocate for financial literacy, especially among young learners. With a background in creative storytelling and a keen interest in emerging technologies, Jennifer brings a unique voice to children’s literature blending fun, imagination, and important life skills in every page.

 

Her debut children’s book, Crypto Kids: A Little Hodler’s Guide to Cryptocurrency, introduces young readers to the exciting world of digital money. Through colorful illustrations and playful rhymes, the book makes complex topics like blockchain, crypto wallets, and digital safety accessible and engaging for kids. Inspired by her own child’s curiosity about money and technology, Jennifer set out to create a resource that would empower the next generation with knowledge about the future of finance.

 

Jennifer’s work reflects her belief that kids are capable of understanding big ideas when they’re presented in a way that sparks curiosity and joy. She is committed to making education fun, relatable, and relevant to the world we live in today.

 

When she's not writing, Jennifer enjoys exploring new tech trends, traveling with her family, and diving into creative projects that merge learning with storytelling. She is also a dedicated mom and actively involved in her community, often volunteering at local events focused on literacy and innovation.

 

Jennifer lives in Southern California with her husband, son, and their spirited dog, Enzo. She is currently working on her second children’s book and developing educational content to help families have meaningful conversations about money, values, and the digital future.
